Best online educational material of the year!
National Information Center for History & Heritage Communication has - along with Falihos and HistorieOnline - named the winner of the newly established price 'Best free online educational material for history of the year'. In a tight field it was 'Skole200' that won over the jury with a formidable online education universe. Computopic has developed the online planning scheme for Skole200, which has won high acclaim.
Educational development consultant Tina Krogh says: "The online planning scheme developed in connection with Skole200 is am amazing tool. The planning scheme has taken teachers by storm, and they have been very happy using it. In the evaluation several have described it as, e.g., ingenious, easy to use, very user-friendly, easily manageable, just what we need, well thought out ... - and it has stirred minds at the schools about how this might used for team planning, scheme planning for pupils etc. The motto was Keep it simple when I developed the idea for this form along with Computopic. We are really happy that the teachers were able to see the value in a planning tool and have found it useful and user-friendly."
The grounds for naming Skole200 the winner reads "Skole200 is a cornucopia of opportunities for creating education that actively engages students, and stands as an innovative example of what online material can do. Skole200 differs from other current online pages by the kaleidoscopic structure that creates dynamics and provides ample opportunity for immersion as well as experience. Combined this facilitates students' historical consciousness - even interdisciplinary. The experience is seamless and rethinks mediation by including elements such as user involvement, sharing via social media, responsive design for mobile devices and online planning tool for teachers".
Best regards, Computopic
